This month, we had the privilege of celebrating an incredible milestone—one year of Café Grooves.

Over the past year, Café Grooves has become so much more than a gathering centered around music. It has evolved into a vibrant community where people come together to connect, share experiences, and find joy in the simple act of being present with one another.

As a wellness partner, the Monarch Mental Health Foundation was honored to be part of this special celebration. Our mission has always been rooted in creating spaces where authentic conversations can happen, where mental health is prioritized, and where individuals feel supported in their journey toward healing and well-being.

What makes Café Grooves so special is its ability to bring people together through music, movement, and meaningful connection. In a world that often moves too fast, these moments remind us of the importance of slowing down, engaging with our community, and nurturing our mental health.

Mental wellness doesn’t always look like a therapy session or a doctor’s office. Sometimes, healing looks like dancing to your favorite song. Sometimes, it looks like sharing a conversation with a new friend. Sometimes, it simply means showing up and being surrounded by people who make you feel seen, heard, and valued.

At Monarch, we often say “Feel to Heal” because we believe healing begins when we create space for our emotions, our experiences, and our connections with others. Events like Café Grooves embody that philosophy perfectly.

As we celebrate this one-year anniversary, we’re grateful for the community that Café Grooves has cultivated and excited for all that’s still to come. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this space so welcoming, uplifting, and impactful.

Here’s to another year of music, movement, connection, and collective healing.

Because sometimes the most powerful form of wellness is simply being together.
