For three years now, JAG Corp-Team Monarch has proudly participated in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in collaboration with Florida International University (FIU). This annual event is more than just a walk—it’s a movement that brings together students, faculty, and community members with one common goal: to shine a light on mental health and suicide prevention.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our incredible supporters, JAG Corp-Team Monarch raised the most funds of any team participating in the walk! This achievement speaks volumes about the commitment of our team members, donors, and everyone who contributed in any way. Whether you walked with us, donated, or simply helped spread the word, your impact is real, and we are endlessly grateful for your support.

A huge shout-out goes to our amazing team captains, Isa Chammas and Gaby Trueba, whose leadership and passion played a vital role in our success. Their tireless efforts helped rally the team, raise funds, and ensure that our presence at the event was both meaningful and memorable.

Each step we take in the Out of the Darkness Walk symbolizes hope, resilience, and a commitment to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. At Monarch Mental Health Foundation, we believe in creating spaces where conversations about mental well-being are not just accepted but encouraged. Events like this walk allow us to come together, support one another, and remind those who may be struggling that they are never alone.

The fight for mental health awareness doesn’t stop here. With every donation, every conversation, and every step taken, we continue pushing forward, ensuring that resources, education, and support are available for all. Let’s keep the momentum going—because together, we are making a difference 💜.
